A new quarterly release for Dataplace and the Australian Government Data Catalogue is now available.
The release includes:
- A new advanced search option in the Catalogue that lets users create and save complex search queries
- The ability for Lead Data Custodians to initiate variations to existing Data Sharing Agreements and final stage Data Sharing Requests
- A comments function, allowing users involved in negotiating a Data Sharing Agreement to collaborate in real-time and link to relevant part of the data sharing request or variation process
- Improvements to Dataplace to better support data sharing projects that include foreign individuals. The system now supports those projects to meet the National Security Code obligations by securely providing the required information to ASIO
- Minor updates based on user feedback to make Dataplace and the Catalogue easier to use.
For a full list of changes affecting users, see the release notes. We will also be showcasing our new features in the Australian Government Data Catalogue and Dataplace at our next Information Session on Tuesday, 20 May 2025 at 10:30am AEST - Register here.
