The agreement service is now live! And we need your help.

You can now create a general data sharing agreement using Dataplace. The service can help you generate an agreement for sharing where there is a single data user (organisation) and a single data custodian.

Enhancements over the coming months will see the service expand to include developing agreements when data is shared under the DATA Scheme, and when sharing involves multiple custodians, multiple data users, and intermediaries that provide data services, such as accredited data service providers.

We are currently engaging with Dataplace stakeholders on the clause bank used to generate agreements, to check we have got the right legal management of the right risks when sharing data. Thank you if you have provided feedback, which will inform updates to clauses over the coming months.
